EuroMillions Odds and Prizes

With EuroMillions, there are 13 different ways in which you can win, depending on how many numbers you match.

You only need to match two of the main numbers in order to win a prize. Prizes increase in value as you match more numbers. To win the jackpot, you must match all five main numbers plus the two Lucky Stars.

The prize values are determined by the ticket sales as well as the number of winners in each prize tier.

Biggest EuroMillions Winner So Far

€240 Million

On 8th December 2023, an Austrian ticket holder won the biggest EuroMillions jackpot seen so far - €240 million. It followed a special Superdraw one week earlier, when the top prize was raised to €200 million. The winner had played online.

Previously, the largest jackpot had gone to a UK player. They won a grand prize of €230 million on 19th July 2022 and claimed it shortly afterwards.

Special Draws

Throughout the year, there are a number of special EuroMillions draws. These include Superdraws, when the jackpot is boosted to an amount such as €130 million, even if it is much lower in the preceding draw. If a Superdraw jackpot rolls over, it carries on rolling from there, setting up many of the biggest EuroMillions wins.

Raffles also take place from time to time, when a number of players across Europe are guaranteed to become millionaires. Everyone who buys a ticket receives a unique code combining letters and numbers, and winning codes are then selected at random. Match one of the winning codes exactly and you’ll receive €1 million. These European raffles have been known to create 100 millionaires at a time.
